Founded 1996 as Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority; renamed Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment 2017, simplified to "Mohegan" July 2022. Wholly owned by the federally recognized Mohegan Tribe (Connecticut). Mohegan Digital (launched July 2021) partners with FanDuel for the tribe's Connecticut mobile sportsbook/casino under the Mohegan Sun brand. Also operates/manages properties in New Jersey (Resorts Casino Hotel, from 2012), Nevada (Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, from 2021), Washington (ilani, with the Cowlitz Indian Tribe, from 2017), and international properties in Ontario and South Korea. PA PGCB's current operator list shows "Mohegan PA" as a licensed online sports wagering brand.
